The Gatseos Family – Family Photographer Grand Junction
Let me tell you… these guys understood the assignment when I said ‘the crazier the better’, right??!
Seriously, this Family is just so energetic, lively and fun. Mom ( Tara) already told me all about their little personalities at our consultation and sure enough, I got to witness all of their unique qualities at our portrait session.
George, the 4th ( yes, I love it), is such a responsible old brother, his calm energy is so soothing to be around. Greta, the big sister is so chill and cares for the little ones with amazing motherly instinct. Her presence and help was really crucial when photographing the youngins. She is also a very graceful dancer! <3
Oh, little Johnny… he is the ‘class-clown’ ( strictly in a good sense) and makes you laugh every time he is around ( or being funny behind my back). You are certainly not bored when this guys around.
And last but definitely not least comes sweet little Vera. I do have to admit, she is a little bit tougher nut to crack, but I truly do lover her just way she is. She is quiet and definitely keeps to herself at the beginning and takes a bit of time to warm up to you and THAT IS TOTALLY OK.
I photograph kids on a daily basis and ( just like adults) they are all different and I love that about them. Vera was way more into playing with the abacus on her own than anything else first. She sure showed is something was not to her liking. Look at this fun little blooper.
Of course, every portrait session with me will include a fun image of just the two parents together. It’s important to capture their love and take a session to breath in and out and just enjoy each other for a split second.
As Tara would say, they enjoy the ‘crazy Gatseos-ride’ and I am honored she chose me to be part of this ride. It is certainly a fun one!
