This is where stories turn into images—and images turn into something you can feel every time you walk past them on your wall. Each session I photograph is built around connection: the quiet in-between moments, the big laughter, the way your family or your pet simply is in this season of life. My goal isn’t perfection—it’s honesty, emotion, and art that feels like you.
Here on the blog, you’ll find a closer look behind the sessions, the people (and pets) I get to work with, and the moments that don’t always make it into a gallery but absolutely deserve to be remembered. Think of it as a collection of stories—real, personal, and beautifully ordinary in the best way.
Some babies arrive with a calm, peaceful presence, and sweet little Eiza was one of them. She settled right into her session, snoozing through so much of it while looking absolutely precious in her tiny lavender outfit. That little bunny almost looked like it had found its new best friend. This session was especially meaningful […]

A first birthday session is always a little unpredictable, and that’s exactly what makes them so much fun. One-year-olds have their own plans, their own schedules, and absolutely no interest in following a photographer’s agenda. Mikie J was no exception—and honestly, I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. This sweet family joined me for […]

One of my favorite things about photographing growing families is getting to watch the story keep unfolding. I have had the honor to photograph many ‘Stephens Babies’ over the last decade and now here we are with Kate and Jake’s baby number three already wrapped up in a tiny mint blanket and completely stealing the […]

I’ve been photographing Marcia and Denver’s family for almost ten years now, which means I’ve watched Kaitlyn and Connor grow from little kids into the confident, kind humans they are today. They also happen to be my niece and nephew, which makes sessions like this one even more meaningful. Marcia and Denver have always been […]

Duke doesn’t play fetch — he lives it. From the moment his paws hit the grass and his Dad makes the first throw, everything else fades away. The frisbee becomes the plan, the goal, and quite possibly the meaning of life. Duke is an Australian Shepherd with laser focus, endless athleticism, and a joy for […]

Watching families return as they grow is one of the quiet joys of my job as a newborn photographer. I first photographed Dutton when he was a newborn ( see here), and getting to welcome this family back to the studio with baby Hudson felt both familiar and brand new at the same time. I […]

Harrison’s senior session was the kind of experience that reminds me why I adore photographing people at such meaningful milestones. I don’t take on senior sessions very often, but after spending an afternoon with Harrison, I’m seriously thinking that needs to change. His easygoing personality, natural confidence, and the effortless fun he brought to every […]

From the moment little Kensington arrived at the studio, her joy was contagious. With those bright eyes and the sweetest giggle, she had everyone smiling before the session even began. This milestone birthday wasn’t just about celebrating her first year—it was about honoring all the love that surrounds her from her wonderful family. Kalie and […]

There’s something extra special about watching families grow — especially when you’ve photographed them before. I first met Kendall and Josh when their new daughter Renna was just a baby. Fast-forward two years, and this sweet (and hilariously spirited!) girl is now a proud big sister to baby Reid. – The first time big sister […]

There’s something truly special about being invited back into a family’s life again and again to capture their milestones. When Jade and Lucas reached out to me to photograph their newest little love, Stella, it felt like catching up with old friends. I’ve had the joy of photographing their older two, Shivaun and Finley, before […]
