This is where stories turn into images—and images turn into something you can feel every time you walk past them on your wall. Each session I photograph is built around connection: the quiet in-between moments, the big laughter, the way your family or your pet simply is in this season of life. My goal isn’t perfection—it’s honesty, emotion, and art that feels like you.
Here on the blog, you’ll find a closer look behind the sessions, the people (and pets) I get to work with, and the moments that don’t always make it into a gallery but absolutely deserve to be remembered. Think of it as a collection of stories—real, personal, and beautifully ordinary in the best way.
Some babies arrive with a calm, peaceful presence, and sweet little Eiza was one of them. She settled right into her session, snoozing through so much of it while looking absolutely precious in her tiny lavender outfit. That little bunny almost looked like it had found its new best friend. This session was especially meaningful […]

A first birthday session is always a little unpredictable, and that’s exactly what makes them so much fun. One-year-olds have their own plans, their own schedules, and absolutely no interest in following a photographer’s agenda. Mikie J was no exception—and honestly, I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. This sweet family joined me for […]

Some families just stay with you and you become great Friends —and Jena and Luis are exactly that. I still remember photographing them with their first baby girl, back when everything felt brand new and a little bit unknown. Fast forward to now, and here they are again… a little more experienced, a little more […]

I’ve been photographing Marcia and Denver’s family for almost ten years now, which means I’ve watched Kaitlyn and Connor grow from little kids into the confident, kind humans they are today. They also happen to be my niece and nephew, which makes sessions like this one even more meaningful. Marcia and Denver have always been […]

From the moment little Kensington arrived at the studio, her joy was contagious. With those bright eyes and the sweetest giggle, she had everyone smiling before the session even began. This milestone birthday wasn’t just about celebrating her first year—it was about honoring all the love that surrounds her from her wonderful family. Kalie and […]

There’s just something about three generations all together that feels extra special—especially when one of them is a baby who has mastered the art of keeping everyone entertained. That’s exactly what happened with baby Cosette, her mom Staci, and her grandma during their downtown Grand Junction photo session. From the first click of the camera, […]

Some sessions just sparkle from the very beginning, and Cosette’s was one of those. The moment she walked into the studio with her mom, Staci, she was ready to show off her sweet personality—and oh boy, did she deliver! Cosette is at that magical age where every step feels like an adventure and every expression […]

Baby Mabel, you are just so very cute, you take my breath away! Wouldn’t you agree? I have had the pleasure to photograph the Walton kids for a while now ( even before Ms. Mabel’s arrival, see here). We celebrated baby sister’s arrival just two short years ago ( totally crazy to even say it!). […]

After MUCH MUCH anticipation, I have the HONOR to introduce to you: Mr. Mikie J! So sweet, so loved, so perfect. As many of you may already know, this amazing family is certainly way familiar with my studio, and of course, I couldn’t be happier to have them over any time. We celebrated little Ade’s […]

The Importance of Wall Art: Bringing Your Digital Images to Life In today’s digital world, we capture more photos than ever before. With just a click, we freeze precious moments—our children’s laughter, a milestone anniversary, a once-in-a-lifetime vacation, or the warm gaze of a beloved pet.
