Gorgeous Mamma, Shayla, reached out to me in search for Maternity Photos and as our conversation unfolded and she shared her story with me, it turned out that because of medical reasons they missed out on pregnancy and newborn images with Oaklei ( this amazing-bubbly-mischievous-red-haired-big-sister-to-be). Obviously, we had to do our very best to ‘make up’ for that as best as we could.
I put a little extra emphasis on capturing big sis with the Family and she sure is NOT camera-shy. I think the result speaks for itself. what do you think?
Her personality is just so fun to photograph! She saw me fixing her mom’s dress’ train and she asked: ‘Can I do it too?’ Oh, yeah, Baby girl, you go for it! Fly it higher, higher! Go jump with it!! Go!!
… and we got one of my favorite photos I have ever taken. I just love following their lead and creating something amazing TOGETHER!
Oaklei also told me, she loves ballet… Oh say no more… I turned the music on and she sure showed me her moves! She is just so breathtakingly beautiful!
I can just see this last image re-created on her wedding day many. many years down the road! <3
Now, of course, we did create some gorgeous imagery of the Momma-to-be ( for the second time, I guess 😉 and everyone having fun a as a Family.
Shayla and Ethan ( and Oaklei, of course), I am so grateful you found me and traveled all the way from Parachute, CO ( ok, ok, it may not be that far in Colorado terms, but still).
I know you will cherish these images forever and I am literally bursting with excitement to meet little sister very soon!
