I’ll be honest – I love doing newborn photo sessions! The addition of a new baby is one of the most exciting times that family experiences and I love to be a part of capturing those moments. Here are some of the reasons why newborn photo sessions are some of my favorites:
I Get to Capture the Connection
There is an amazing connection that can be seen between new parents and their new baby. Shooting newborn sessions is more than just capturing the physical appearance of the baby. It is about capturing all of the love and emotion between the parents and the baby. Newborn photographs should show the tenderness of the parents along with the innocence of the precious newborn baby.
I enjoy capturing how tiny your little one is. This can be seen through images of baby’s feet held in daddy’s hand or mom cradling baby’s head in her hand. Your newborn will never be this size again and it is a special time to look back on.
I get to pamper my clients
Being a new parent can be tiring. You are often working on little sleep and are adjusting to a whole new life. Even if you have older children, each new baby brings changes to your family. I love to have the opportunity to pamper my clients during their photo shoot.
During each newborn photo session, I use relaxing music to help put everyone at ease. We keep the whole focus on you and your newborn baby. Family portraits and sibling photos are taken at the start of the session so everyone else can sit back and relax during the remainder of the photo shoot. I will work with you to put together beautiful outfits that keep the focus on your little one.
When you come back for the Viewing Session you will be treated to a peaceful and relaxing “date night” with refreshments as you watch a slideshow starring your favorite people – your family.
