There’s something extra special about watching families grow — especially when you’ve photographed them before. I first met Kendall and Josh when their new daughter Renna was just a baby. Fast-forward two years, and this sweet (and hilariously spirited!) girl is now a proud big sister to baby Reid.

This family session was the perfect mix of cozy fall vibes, sibling giggles, and the kind of love you can feel just by looking at the photos. We kept things light, bright, and natural — exactly how I envisioned capturing their growing family. The neutral tones paired with soft autumn details, like mini pumpkins and a “Pumpkin Patch” sign, created a timeless look that feels both modern and heartwarming.
Renna, of course, stole the show with her boundless energy and curly blonde hair that seemed to have a life of its own. She’s the kind of two-year-old who keeps everyone laughing — full of personality, sass, and the occasional “catch me if you can” moment. But that’s what I love about photographing toddlers. Their authenticity shines through every expression, from the biggest smiles to the cheeky grins.
Baby Reid was the calm to her storm — snugly wrapped, sleepy, and perfectly content in Dad’s arms. It was incredible to see how naturally Kendall and Josh balanced life with two little ones. Between sweet snuggles and playful moments, their connection as a family radiated through every image.
One of my favorite moments was when Josh helped Renna “meet” her baby brother up close. She leaned in with that curious sparkle in her eyes, and the moment melted everyone in the room. It was such a genuine display of sibling love — the beginning of a bond that will only grow stronger with time.
Kendall and Josh were absolute naturals in front of the camera. Their session felt real — full of laughter, gentle looks, and all the warmth that defines this new chapter. You can tell how much love they pour into their little family, and it was a joy to capture that for them.
This session is a beautiful reminder that family photos don’t have to be perfectly posed to be perfect. The candid giggles, the tiny hands, the way parents look at their babies — those are the moments worth freezing in time.
Welcome to the world, sweet Reid. And Renna — keep being your hilarious, unstoppable self. Watching your family grow has been such an honor.
