As a newborn photographer in grand junction co, I know way too well how it is to wait for the arrival of your little one. Every time a client’s due date is coming I am so excited for them and anxious to finally meet my newest model.
This was the same with Baby Oliver. He sure was very comfy in his Mom, Carolyn’s belly. He stayed in more than an extra week. Finally, on October 4th I got the message, I have been waiting for. It’s a boy! ( it was a suprise! )
This cute little bundle of joy was photographed at 6 days old. We actually had a ‘little’ bigger photo session than usual. We had Baby Oliver, Carolyn and Ted. Plus, Carolyn’s Mom, Linda and Sister, Lauren were also part of the session… and there was one more super important person in the photos, Snickers ; ) a one year-old spaniel.
While husband, Ted was keeping the puppy busy, we started with generational family photos. Don’t you just LOVE these gorgeous ladies cuddling Baby Oliver. Gosh, this boy is well-loved. : )
It is just so precious to see a Grandma holding their first grand baby in their hands. In fact, here at Csilla Leonard Photography, we love a newborn photo session with grandparents.
Then, we moved on to photos of just the newborn and family photographs. and there came every newborn photographer’s favorite part: a code brown incident when the baby was naked. ; )
It was only a matter of a few seconds and we would have been part of one of those ‘newborn photos gone wrong’ compilations. oh, well.. I am sure there will be a next time.
Enters Snickers… the most patient cutest puppy dog ever. He totally loves his little brother. He was guarding him while Baby Oliver was sleeping. Aren’t they just adorable?
This family totally stole my heart! Carolyn and Ted, thank you so much for being so patient and sharing one of Baby Oliver’s first days with me. I hope you will enjoy your newborn photos for decades to come.
