BABY JAMESON | BABY PHOTOGRAPHER | GRAND JUNCTION CO

As a baby photographer, it’ always such an honor when one Mom recommends my services to the other. That’s what happened with Laura and her new Baby Boy, Jameson.  Laura and one of my previous client (and now Friend) Carolyn are great friends and their Baby Boys came almost at the same time. Laura contacted me right after she saw Baby Oliver’s photos. We got connected shortly after my arrival back to the US. We actually were finalizing the details of  their photo session right on her due date. Because, of course, Baby Jameson, came a little late too ( just like all other babies lately : ) Buy boy, when he decided to come, things were happening fast. This gorgeous Mom almost didn’t even make it to the hospital.

Baby Jameson was 7 days old when he and his loving family came to the studio. One of the perks of taking photographs of babies at just around 7-10 days of age is that usually the Grandparents are still in town and can participate in the photo session as well. And this was certainly the case for Baby Jameson. 

In addition to Mom (Laura), Dad (Dave), Brother ( Collin) Grandma and Grandpa. We had the baby’s uncle (Stephen) and their faithful companion, Sam at their photo session.  This setup made for quite a full day for photos!

Baby Jameson was so calm and sleepy throughout the whole afternoon. It felt like he knew how loved he is and he is just safe to enjoy the sunny afternoon with his Family.  ( and that is the dream of a baby photographer!)

It was a little harder to get Collin (21 months old) to participate in all the ‘picture-taking fun’. Luckily this Mom was well-prepared and brought his favorite fruit snacks to bribe Collin into getting in on a few pictures. ( He wanted nothing to do with the lollipop I usually use for the same reason. )

Altogether, I think it’s safe to say that we all had a fun afternoon. (The complimentary beer offered at my studio might have helped keeping the guys happy : ) ) And this gorgeous now-complete Family will enjoy and cherish their unqiue artwork forever.
