BABY HUDSON | BABY PHOTOGRAPHER | GRAND JUNCTION

There is nothing more exciting for a baby photographer when her friends are welcoming a new addition to their family. Amber and I started talking about Baby Hudson’s fine art photo session way before he was even born. This way, I was waiting for his arrival with even more excitement. Actually, at the time we didn’t even know the gender of the baby. : ) Amber and Jordan have a home with a very modern and sophisticated style. ( perfect for a baby photographer that likes clean lines 🙂 )  It seemed very fitting to approach the session  a minimalist way.  We talked about walls where the images could be displayed and other ideas for them to make sure they have their images preserved.

We were all the set for the baby’s arrival and as it turned out after having a family of all girls ( even the dog ) Jordan got a new little companion: A BOY!

Baby Hudson is sooo very loved. And such a great little boy. According to his Mom, he sleeps all the time… Well, he used to… That was before they came over the studio. : ) Here, he decided to be the most wide-eyed baby ever. He gave us the most adorable awake photos I have seen. His eyes are so big and dark and he is so very observant. He hardly cried… he was just observing.

Baby Hudson was accompanied by his big sister Finley and his puppy, Tundra. 🙂 Needles to say, Tundra (7-year-old lab) was super patient. Seriously, this dog was so co-operative… I was just amazed. Even when Finley’s hands where in his eyes, or she was pulling her ear… Tundra just put up with all of with! What a good girl!

Finley on the other hand… Well, just like every 18 months old, she had her own agenda. She wanted play everywhere but where the photos are. : ) Luckily, she did express interest in the puppy and her little brother, so we got some BEAUTIFUL sibling shots.

This session was more focused on simple, timeless baby photos of just the kids. But rest assured…Images from a gorgeous lifestyle family photography session are on their way!
