Baby Brooklyn | Cake Smash Photo Shoot Grand Junction
After much anticipation and preparation, I had the pleasure to welcome Baby Brooklyn and her loving parents at the studio. Her Mom, Meagan reached out to me a while ago and asked me to capture some precious moments of her family of three. While you don’t need a specific reason to do just that… in this case we did have one. A big ONE. The biggest and only ONE. 🙂
Baby Brooklyn is celebrating her 1st Birthday in just a few short days.
Meagan and I went through every detail very carefully before this session. She even made a cake for her Little Girl. How precious is that?
Finally, the bid day came! And oh my gosh… talk about he fun we had.
She just started to walk
Brooklyn just started to walk a few days before our session. I am telling you this girl can take off in a question of a split second. Her Dad, Thomas was my biggest helper while taking some of those sitting images with those fuzzy balls of yarn. (see image) We put her down, she took off, we put her down… and guess what… she took off! I think it’s safe to say that both Thomas and I were sweating buckets 10 minutes into the session. 🙂 You gotta love 1 year-olds!
Thank you so much, Thomas, for being so very patient and such a great helper throughout the whole photo session! ( He even took a day off of work just to be able to do this session with me, how amazing is that?!)
After some gorgeous images, we took of Brooklyn, we transitioned to some family photos. It’s all about showing connection! Isn’t that what matters? Look at these gorgeous photos showing the amazing connection these guys have. I know that these images are going to be their family’s treasures forever.
And there comes the super fun part: the cake smash photo shoot
This bay girl charged towards the cake faster than I have ever seen. she probably knew how delicious the cake is that her Momma made. 🙂
She was so into it! And the parents and I were enjoying every second of it!
Throughout the whole session Brooklyn gave us the biggest smiles when Meagan made some funny noises that she knew the baby would like. Look at some of these big gorgeous smiles we got!
